Fastest way to get a length, width, area etc off a drawing? Open the PDF in QuickScale, plot the scale, click on either end of the length or width, or click around the points of the area and QuickScale will calculate the dimensions. Do you pay more than £90pa for your take off software?
QuickScale licences are bought outright, not annually. The Plus desktop edition is £269 ex VAT. If you kept the same pc for 3 years, it would cost you the equivalent of £90pa. Windows 11 and QuickScale

QuickScale and Mac
QuickScale is a Windows program but we do have Mac customers who run QuickScale by dividing the Mac hard drive and run Windows programs alongside Mac programs. They divide the hard drive with Bootcamp, VMware Fusion or Parallels. Dimensions not showing in QuickScale
If you measure a line, area etc and the dimensions are not showing, click on the View tab and tick line, path area etc

QuickScale will measure lengths and areas in microns and miles/km and everything in between.
No printers needed
No printers needed to scale the PDF, and no scale rules. Open the drawing in QuickScale and click on either end of a known measurement (eg door width). This will scale the PDF for you automatically. From then on, click on either end of the lengths and areas that you want to measure and QuickScale will calculate the dims and show them to you on the drawing.

What is a _qsbak file?
This is where your measurement data is stored in QuickScale. If the PDF has any glitches and shuts down before you are able to save, we should be able to retrieve your work from this file. Email the PDF and the _qsbak file to us and we should be able to help you. You will not be able to read the _qsbak yourself. sales@quickscale.co
